    "RUN-AWAY" full-auto (clip)

NOTE: ***THIS IS NOT A "SWEET SPOT" vs. "RUN-AWAY" terminology debate... I think we've already been through that.. Please do not start another one. ***

I found this clip and thought it was crazy-funny. I figured you might get a chuckle out of it also.

    From:http://www.airsoftretreat.com/

Here's what happens when your gun (real) goes "RUN-AWAY". Check out the expression on the dude's face - it's priceless!

    Also, watch his trigger finger...

    (2.6 MB MPEG)

    Cheers!

An Ingram/MAC product? No wonder. Those are some of the most poorly manufactured firearms out there. To call them firearms is almost a disgrace to all other firearms. Gordon Ingram's designs were of little utility (these guns are hard to control), and Mitch BerWell and MAC didn't do anything to improve them.

BTW, most full-auto sub-guns aren't like that. For example, while the original MP-5 Kurtz is a little unwieldy, the MP-5 line is legendary for first shot accuracy, controllability, and durability. BUT, any gun that isn't of considerable weight will be somewhat difficult to control when fired full-auto in anything but bursts. Even the UZI, when fired with a stock, is much better. Those guns are near the bottom of the barrel when it comes to sub-guns.

Alright being a lifetime member of the NRA, and a gun safety nut, a few things jumped out at me besides the gun running away on him bothered me.

First, when the gun did run on him, he started panicking. You could see it in his UN-PHOTOSHOPPED eyes. (yes jack that pic is funny as hell too) He should have tightened his grip and kept shooting. That 30 or 40 round clip was going to be done quickly. To his credit he DID keep it pointed downrange well enough.

Second and this is the bad one. After it stopped instead of dropping the clip, or putting the safety on, he continues his wide eyed suprise by looking back at his friends taking his grip hand off the weapon and saying Did you see that? If that gun had not been empty, it may have dropped the bolt and started firing again. It would have come out of his forehand and done who knows what. It already showed it was capapble of firing with out the trigger operating it. That could have been very very bad.

Best thing for this gun? Cut it in half and recycle it.

But yeah, that looks is priceless.... Holy Schnikes...

you can buy fake suppressors, they make a good front grip on a gun like that.

based on how he was holding it, i think that it was probally a semi auto. there is this little trick you can do, it is sometimes called bump firing. what you do is hold the foregrip with one hand, leave the hand pulling the trigger stationary, and pull the gun foward by the foregrip untill it fires, and fires and fires.....
As society and the problems that face it become more and more complex and machines become more and more intelligent, people will let machines make more of their decisions for them, simply because machine-made decisions will bring better results than man-made ones. Eventually a stage may be reached at which the decisions necessary to keep the system running will be so complex that human beings will be incapable of making them intelligently. At that stage the machines will be in effective control. People won't be able to just turn the machines off, because they will be so dependent on them that turning them off would amount to suicide

sometimes I just freaking hate people. which means the next day I will love them for the sake of balance, but right now I will just concentrate on the hating. Hate hate hate. Blaaaarg! ;)
