I haven't come across anything on the modular body yet. The only tool I've used for browsing european patents is espacenet, and they don't appear to have any tools to do a boolean search of _just_ applications (and Delphion charges for such access).

    Will keep digging, though.

                Perfect circle paintballs....

Do you still produce those Tom? In the patent, it even mentions that they are cheaper to produce than regular gelatin paintballs. Is that still true, or can gelatin paintballs be produced much cheaper now?

If the Freak is patented then why are there several barrel systems out there using the same idea?

It seems like if SP want's to bust violators of it's patents that one would be a slam dunk.

Chasing down this silly "on/off" issue may very well pay off for them in immediate cash settlements but in terms of reputation and future sales it may kill them.

Chasing Freak patent violators would be a legitament case and wouldn't (shouldn't) have an adverse affect on their reputation.

                        Thoughts?

Actualy Powerlyte Scepters had to change its design last year to comply... you cannot see the inserts from the outside anymore.

didnt otp have an insert system before the freak. Also, I remember the Bob Long Sniper barrel had inserts.
