Custom was my original thought as well but honestly.... it doesn't matter. Now if we had some sponsorship of some sort, we'd have a reason to advertise...

Doesn't matter to me... I see both sides. I just want to end the discussion and decide by the end of the month.

I'm not trying to highjack anything - but thought I ought to at least state my feelings since we are all weighing in here.

First, we should probably move this discussion to the website the muzikman set up for us. Since that site requires registration it is easier to keep track of who is a maybe or a yes. I'm thinking that the yeses should have a bit more say since we're verbally committing to fund this. I'm not trying to cut anyone out of the decision process - but do feel that those who are committing up front have earmarked funds to support the entire endeavor and therefore have "bought" into the event. I'm not trying to sound like a stuck up d!ck, but also would be a little irritated if a bunch of people who ended up not going swung a decision a direction that those who did might not have been totally happy with.

Another good reason is that I'm having trouble tracking both threads and missed the part about the cheaper jerseys, so it might be helpful to consolidate in one area for that reason as well.

Onto the jerseys, I will go with he team on this and any other decision, but my personal preference is to go fully custom on the the matter. When the Team AO concept came up I decided I'd like to do it and asked you guys to participate. I did once I sat down and figured out finances to be sure it was doable. I want this to be a memorable event and don't understand the idea of selling the jerseys afterwards (unless to a different AO team going to a different event - to keep the jerseys uniform) and would rather have something unique to remember the time by. I also despise the vendor jerseys that say dye, JT or what ever. I of course already own 2 (isn't paintball great) and don't care for another if it is avoidable.

These are just my feelings and I by no means am arguing with anyone - I just wanted to get them out there in case anyone was feeling the same way.

I agree about moving the discussion. Only problem is the added delay... those groups are slow.

But let's give it a shot.

I sent a discussion starter to the list. Everyone chime in.

I'm for the custom jersey's or the Nexed ones. Either way is fine by me. An extra $30 is'nt going to break me. I just wanted to get something nailed down. Our captain should feel free to squash the discussion at any point and make a command decision.

Personallt I'll be hanging onto my jersey.

As far as the Yahoo bit goes I've tried to join up but so far I have'nt been invited to log in.

There's still time for debate.... No big rush just yet.

              Debate away...

Due to speed concerns I setup another list with everyone from the Yahoo Group on it. I'll add Load to the Yahoo group and the other list as soon as he reads his PM.

yeah we need to pick one source for team discussion, using both places is to much.....i post my reply on the new thread, that will be my last responce to any thing on the jersie topic because i believe there are alot more important things to put effort twords....

The Yahoo group is slow? Not that I have any connection to Yahoo, but I never found it slow. I have found the email on yahoo slow, but thats why I have it set as a daily email and I just check the messages throughout the day as I do here.

If you guys want, I do have access to a forum that could be setup just for this and put it up on teamao.org. It will take me a few days to get it up and running.

BTW, since I am not playing I don't count, but if you guys go the customized jersey, I want one:)
