You guys can argue & compare the characteristics of dog poo & kittie litter until you're blue in the face for all I care

The original intention of this post still remains. Will they, or will they not offer a trade-in for the Al valves?
I'm way too old for this ****.

I doubt there will be a 'trade in' possible. Why should there be?

but I do believe they said you will be able to buy an aluminium valve seperately if you want to upgrade your gun

Is there a way to screw a stainless sleeve into the field strip hole in the valve. This sleeve would take a smaller diameter screw (which would replace the field-strip screw). This way, the only repetetive threading would be between the steel sleave and the screw, but not the aluminum valve.

It seems that this would be a stock part that you could find at the specialty fastener stores.

          What do you think?

Who cares. None of this stuff will be available to the public for at least six years. Just like the extreme it self, or like the no rise bodies, or the millable bodies, or like the level 10 was. - Just the opinion of a frustrated AGD customer.

I both understand & share your frustation, BUT...

How do you think AGD has gotten their reputation? It takes TIME to do things the RIGHT way. Patience my friend, patience. When the new batch of toys do hit full production, then we know everything'll be gravy

True true, Agd is one of the few companies that spend time in developing and testing thier products before mass releasing them, unlike some other companies that make a product and just want to release it so that they can make some money then the product keeps on breaking on the user and has many bugs.

But I dont buy that "time for the right way". I bought a 2002 vert cocker at the IAO just a few months ago. 3 months later, go look at a stock vert now! Completely upgraded. WGP didn't have an adjustable 3 way last year. Not to mention the swing frame, and several other WGP products that just came out. I've never seen a company anounce a new product and then make people wait MONTHS to get their hands on them. Product production isnt some magical thing. Hundreds of companies put out decent stuff in reasonable amounts of time.

I wish AGD at least waited to have some of this stuff ready before they release its existance. I mean most of their new product line is frickin unavailable. Then to make matters worse, no one, even at their world cup table can give you any answers. I dont know what AGD expects of its customers. Sometimes I feel like a guinea pig involved in some elaborate prank. Its not a good feeling to tirelessly support a company like this with no answers in return.

Well... in a sense, we are guinea pigs. We're the dev/beta group. You've been around long enough to know that.

I hate waiting too, but I'd rather wait longer and get a product I KNOW is going to work & not have to worry about upgrading, than get something sooner & have to tinker, fiddle & upgrade to get the performance I want.

I don't know. Its hard to swallow. Like I said before. There's several PB companies that seem to be doing just fine. And they're not tripping all over poorly made products. Its disappointing to go the World Cup of paintball, to see the company that I worship, only to find NOTHING at their table. I few nice guns that I cant own any time soon
