    Need help with HPA...

I just bought a pure energy hpa system with the thor reg. This is the first time I've ever used HPA. When I attempt to screw the tank into the reg it starts venting out a little hole on the side of the reg where the threads are. I think this is a bleed off but it seems to be "bleeding on" for some reason. I can't even get the gun aired up because it will just vent all my air out. Does anyone know why it would do this?

I'm not familiar with the THOR, but does it have an on/off valve? Maybe it's in the ON position?

What kind of ASA are you screwing it into?

The thor reg is a reg that mounts on a rail to your grip frame and the tank actually screws into the reg itself. I don't think it has an on/off. All I see is a guage and the quick disconnect nipple, as well as the reg adjuster.

I was just looking at the pics of that thing on pbgear and that looks weird with no on/off.

One of the guys I play with has that same bottle and reg, I'm gonna go meet him and some other guys for a drink. I'll ask him about your problem and post later tonight/tomorrow morning. Unless someone else helps you out, give PMI tech support a call on Monday.

Umm, i personally use a crossfire, but it might not be something simple, but you may want to contact pure energy about it and i know that the 2 stores in my ares refuse to sell pure energy's because of that very reason, they leak alot.

Well I just tested it out with a standard asa, and it worked. So I guess the problem lies in the thor reg...

That guy I spoke with said he had problems whith his THOR too, so he just uses a screw in ASA, Custom Products, because the thor gave him nothing but problems. Doesn't really help, sorry about that.
