dont sand anthing!!! drop the rail in a bucket of draino and all the black will just come off then use a buffing wheel and polish

Ya - its easier but not easy. Buffing wheels are a pain and leave black streaks that i find myself just pushing around for a while
If you draino it (Drain-o crystals in water), and the metal underneath is still a pretty nice finish then mother's mag polish and a rag works great.

if i do that will get like a professional looking mirror finish? if so. trigger frame, reg valve part, body, inelli trigger, rail, and whatever else i have chrome will go in i ;DComment
