    12v revy or rico

Which is a better hopper. I have heard a lot of good things about both and dont know which to get? Dont need more of a hopper then these so i just want to know between these two.

i got my revvy with my tippmann so i couldn't shoot that fast so i don't know. i've never outshot my ricochete on my rtpro and i like how the balls cab't go up the feed neck. there are stress cracks on my ricocete though. i don't think it will break any time soon(hopefully not at all) but if it does i think the ricochete company will give me a free shell.

ricco r i tiny bit faster but nothing to be noticed. if ricco gets cracked one of my friends got a shell for free. but my bro had to send in his broken-shelled revie just for a replacement shell.
pesonally i have the rev (no-x board) cause i can intellifeed it, but thats redundant with a ricco.
          hope that helps

My rico would stop feeding randomly for some reason. I'd have to tap it to get it working again (anyone else have this problem?)...maybe I just got a defective one.

            The revy is very reliable.

i would take a rico over a revy. ive seen nothing but garbage lately from revy's.

I'd have to go with the revvy. But if you get one get a black one cause the lid's on the gem series are pretty brittle.

what do you mean the rico is faster? heck no!!!!!!

                  ricochet:8-9 balls per second
                  revolution: 12-13 balls per second

ricos are slow and they dont even ricochet balls. i would take an x-board revolution over a rico any and every day.

I like the revy better. The feed port on the revy is set at an angle towards you while the feed port on the rico is located horizontally on top of the loader. Consequently, it is more akward to reload the rico, especially when you're in a tight bunker under fire.

Also the rico holds noticeably less balls than the revy.

I've never seen a rico AK in person, but I have seen+used a rico 2k. Personally I'd go with the 12 revvy. The rico, at least the 2k version, sounds like a microwave, and the paddle is just 2 sticks like a 9v revvy. The 12v has 4 sticks on the paddle and you can intellifeed it easily if you have an i-frame. I've never really cared for the rico's design, either... the balls practically ricochet off the hopper and hit you.

forget about which one can feed faster, theyre coming out with a drop in kit for both ricos and revvies that turn them into force fed hoppers, 17 bps in drop tests.

I have a revvy and I like it a lot, and it has never let me down. But even with the xboard, i don't think it is as fast as the riccochet (SP)? The guy down at the army surplus I get my paintball stuff at had an emag which he got converted from an rt, with a warp and ricc on it. He said he could put it into hybrid mode and just bounce the trigger off his finger, and get around forteen bps, and shoot long strings of it without a ball chop-maybe this was 'cause of the warp, but he did keep up long strings, and this was pre level 10, so I think the riccochet is a better product, plus the chance that you may get a ball bounch off it!:)

Sorry, but personally Ricos really suck... They onlyhold 145 shots last time I checked... They would be great if the maker would do something to get more shots and get the thing closer to the damned gun... *Grin* More the gun than the hopper, but there are ways they could help...
