I've got them both and love them both. My revvy is a pre-BE and works like a charm, the Ricochet AK I just got has the o-ring body, and it is sweet.

The revolutions seem to get more on a set of batteries, as the rico runs every time a ball feeds. With the addition of the modified impeller they can feed a bit faster than a rico.

The rico is quieter, lighter, and fits better with a warp (don't have to melt or cut it to get the hose to fit). I also can say firsthand the odd design helps deflect paintballs. The o-ring body makes them fit virtually everything from warp feeds to the loosest and tightest high-rise without sanding or duct tape. :) Despite what people say, they do hold more than 145 paintballs. I can dump a 150 round pod into my rico and still have room left inside.

Even though the rico feeds a bit more slowly than the revvy, the fact that it spins with each paintball seems to give me fewer gaps when I look at my warp disks.

The newer Richos have o ring necks, which is cool, I also belive they use a different plastic for the neck, maybe the whole shell. I just ordered one with my genx3

I love my 12V Revy with XBoard. It has never let me down. I hear the new ones have problems, but I would be willing to take the chance again if going for that level of hopper.

I would however go HaloB for my next motorized hopper and then pass my Revy on down to one of my other markers (now shake and bake).

here are the 12v reviews (yes, its a little low because of the new feed neck breaks)

I have both (Rico 2K). Feed wise they don't really seem that different. I'd go with the Rico especially with the new o-ring shell. The one I have has four impellers (not two as someone mentioned).

Have you thought about an Eggo II? Those things aren't too much more expensive and they feed really fast.

EDIT: The Rico 2K IS a tad loud. That is my only complaint with it. It beeps all the time. The AK probably uses less batteries than my 2K and actually shuts up without having to mess with it.

Not sure about the rico, but I have a 12v x-board revy w/a vortex impellor and love it. I think the vortex helps some to, it doesn't have to turn near as much as it did before. I had an older revy and the paddles were big enough to actually stop and plug the hole. I just bought another and it looks like they have made the paddles point up more now. Ok that was alot of impellor/paddle info!

they both feed the same so with whichever you think looks cooler or more comfortable with. Personally i would go with the Revolution for quite a few reasons. Reason first: the lid on the Ricochet is on top of the gun so you kinda have to lower your gun completely to reload as of on the Rev, you can open the lid and reload while your still holding your marker in shooting position if your keeping someone down. Another reason is how they work. They Ricochet spins 2x around after each ball passes a tounge. Honestly i just dont think it is the most reliable design. With the Revolution, it will jsut keep spinning and spinning like a retard until there is a ball in the neck, which i like better. Also, later on if you decide to get a faster shooting gun or if your Rev isn't keeping up with your trigger, you can buy a WAS Turbo Rev board upgrade. The Turbo board is amazing. It may feed upto 16bps which is well enough. The WAS 6 prong may feed more consistantly when your hopper is near empy.

They are both about the same, in terms of feeding, both are slow. if you are in the market, save an extra 20 and get a Evo II, they kick butt. i like the revos more than the Rico because the rico sounds like it is going to explode.

I dont think BE even has customer service. Rico costumer service is suppose to be astronomical. Thats why i bought my Rico 2k + it has a cool timer and the Intimidator timer sucks. The reason I think it stopped feeding is because it feeds by vibration not an eye. So tapping it usually does start feeding again. I believe you can adjust its sensitivity. Check the manual.

                        rico owner here

just my thoughts. i think the rico looks a heck of a lot better in person than it does in picture. it can hold 180 rounds which is perfect since i use 140 round tubes so its just the right size. im not sure how it compares noise wise to the revo but it seems alright for a motorized loader. two definite pluses tho are the one way feed neck and the o-rings especially. you can flail your gun around with a full hopper and it wont pop off. the ball counter is nearly ineffective tho and i wish it would save the settings you assign it like the sensor sensitivity and silence.

edit: oh and i have a ricochet 2KO (O standing for o-ring im pretty sure). i cant remember off the top of my head but i think the ak doesnt have the LCD screen. but you probably knew that already. make sure you get a model with the o-rings tho.
