AGD Kids take 1st Place, AGD Pride take 2nd at BFG 3-Man Tourny! (Lots of Pics!)
The AGD Kids took 1st place and AGD Pride took 2nd place in the Amatuer division at the 3-Man tourny at BFG Paintball (Formally known as Milwaukee Paintball Center) in Germantown, WI yesterday! 
The Kids walked away with $540.00 dollars and a trophy and Pride received $375.00 and trophy!
The tourny was scheduled to start at 10:00am with 8 games for the pre-lims with an additional 3 games in the finals.
In the pre-lims, AGD Pride dropped our first 2 games but then won the next 6 in a row. We were the only team to win 2 games in a row in less than 30 seconds and we also posted the most maxes with 4 100 point games.
The Kids didn't lose a single game (But only had 3 100 point games
) and went into the finals ranked as 1st, Pride went in ranked 3rd.
Our first game in the finals was against the Kids. Talk about some excitement! Because both of the teams were playing so well through the middle and the end of the pre-lims, a lot of the players and spectators were making an effort to watch our games. When they called over the inner-com that the first game of the finals would be against the two AGD teams, it seemed that everyone was running to get a good spot to watch the game. It was very cool to watch people get so intrested in the AGD teams and want to watch us play against each other.
We put on a good show but the Kids won this one with 95pts. Pride got one kill for 5pts.
Our second game was against a team called Storm Front. This was our most difficult win of the entire tournament, let alone our longest game at 3:00 min. The game quickly went to a 2 on 1 in their advantage with me being the last one left. I made a run down the left tape and bunkered one player. Their last player was on the right tape and didnt see my run. I stopped, turned around, and shot the last player from behind. I then got the pull and hang with only 1:00 minute left in the game.
It was a hard game but definately the most fun. We walked away with 90pts and Storm Front took 10pts.
Our last game was against a team called Grim Creepers. This game went like our games in the pre-lims and we wond within 1:00 min.
We took a max at 100pts and put a lock on 2nd place. The Creepers got 0pts.
After the kids took 95pts against us, their next game ended in a simultaneous kill and both teams only recieved 15pts. However, they maxed their last game and took another 100pts to capture the win.
The Kids ended up with 210pts and Pride took 195pts.
