Wouldn't it make more sense to restrict Pixel hight than say that they need to be wider than they are long? That means that a small 20x30 pixel icon is technicaly a violation of forum rules.

Maybe 150-200 Pixel hight limit might work better.

Oh, I agree about the height thing, I just think it's something that should be used with a bit of common sense. I feel mine isn't a huge image, and he's somewhat close to being as wide as he is tall, so I don't see it as being that big of a deal. I mean, file size wise it's smaller than 15k to begin with. I think the "wider than tall thing" really is aimed more toward sig images that are super tall, or the sigs that have four or five things in them IMHO. Hopefully, nobody minds his size.

Hmmmmmm.... I've tried to re-size mine (I got that to work), and I put it as a jpg file, but when I try to load the smaller version, it says invalid extension. I've tried every other extension, same thing. Grrrrrr.........

If you don't otherwise know the size of the images you are using (you should, since you are using them) - on a windows platform, you can just do a right-mouse-click and select properties on each image.
