Good point Bill. I think the new "rule" should just make people more aware of the sizes of their signatures. But I know some people can get picky about it. Tom should probably clarify it a bit more though.

I think some common sense and a little bit of moderator leeway is a good idea.

Common sense means Bill will be in trouble whatever he does though

I was thinkin about banning Bill anyway...just because.

Yea I think borderline stuff is gonna be left alone. I think Tom wanted a fair guideline with some human touch to it when it came to a judgement. I personaly am not going to say much about someone who is within a thousand or less. Unless he asks us to get real strict on it I will use some judgement. :)

Yes, and of course my post was made mainly to generate a laugh.

There's a reason the NPPL rules have a clause that mentions the spirit of the rules and gives the ultimate judge discretion in enforcement. Rules themselves usually aren't perfect.

As for me, I'd probably have a simple rule like "don't make an obnoxious sig" but a lot of people would just complain that was too vague.

And Manike's got to keep that sig - it makes me grin every time I see that 5 axis milled Manike-E-Mag body :-)
