LCD window hit by paintball

Here is one from a shock player @ cup.
My guy was hit from the other end of a 10-man field....LOL
We gave it a few days before we snapped the pic.

This one isnt' a welt ... but I got shot between the fingers from just about 2ft away.

Man, how do you get such welts... the only two (very painful and a little bloody) welts I have gotten is because I literally ran INTO a guy who was shooting hot anyways

None of them were from being mugged and a lot were from the opposit tape or had bounced off the sup air! Novices and rokkies need more sponsorship at least to stop them buying damgerous paint

I do still have visable mark from some of these but then they were pissing blood through 3 layers of clothing how hard was that paint. Yes I do bruise but have been know to heal from a bleeding welt in days.

I am very proud to have done the best I could and if that meant a few welts then I for one really don't care I barely had a welt all year from playing.

Belive me they were worth it and I still say Marshalling WORLD CUP the best paintball experience of my life.

If some of those where from across the field, are you sure they were paint and not marbles? WOW!

I applaud anyone who refs at big events! We need more refs on the fields at bigger events to keep the *cough* cheating *cough* down. I am kinda' new to tourney play and I can't believe the level of cheating at major events, and by pros. Refs should be able to wear more padding or protection.

Hi, well now I have found this forum I shall be here when I can I do have my own forum to play with too but it's still new and growing. It is great to talk to other ballers I have met so many friends though the boards, even my team the sexy chicks.

Yes they have virtually gone now the welts I have had worse some real nasty ones on my hand but no piccys 3 years later the scars are barley visable lol

These days I play a lot tighter and really only sup air so no mad antics in the woods = no scary welts. I only 1 new welt from sundays tournement

Yes but these were from reffing I have only once in 5 years ever came close to those and that was 2 days of reffing and then playing with 2 player lighting me up from head to toe from both sides whilst I was stuck last player in behind a tree That piccy (oh I so love ya mark little did i realise the millage you were planning for it ) only shows a few of the worse welts I had 43 intotal just from the reffing last time it was 40ish too.

Like I said I play tight now and rarley take a body hit at all. This was all from doing my best for over 40 games a day. I was padded up dye pads wrist to nearly top of my arm knee pads and the huge neck thing mark made me wear I could have hid behind a shiel of a brolly but for one I amn phisically unable to hold either all day let alone in that heat and 2 I found them to be detromental to the game you can't see whats happening once you have a feild full of reffs twirling brollys! lol but no one burst into singing in the rain thinking back

Basically it was my choice and I chose to to the best I could and that meant getting in there and taking it, there was some very hard paint being fired an awful lot was bouncing straight off the sup air enough said I think.:)

lol you should have seen my hand shots you think those are bad mine had shell rips honest I have never sen the like since. I still have dents in the skin to this day 7+ of them all on one hand they pissed blood for 2 whole weeks typing was impossible. Gloves Gloves Gloves is all I can say forget neck protectors pha but gloves every time

Wouldn't it be cool if someone made a electronic gun that could be switched to manual mode if the electronics failed!! Boy, that would be neat!
