You know a gal should never say "Pissin Blood welts" all in the same sentence as it turns on the wrong kind a guys! Hope you healed up alright.

Them all look nasty to me! Why do we even do this? I might take up another sport now....

ummm OUCH! those are some pretty nasty welts. I've been lucky and have never ended up with any actual bleeding welts, plenty of bruises but no bleeding ones. I've also had weird hand hits that hurt worse than anything else, caught a bouncer right in the inside of my thumb sort of in the webbing. It broke a blood vessel in my thumb, whole thing turned purple and felt like it was on fire for a couple hours.

while playing at emr's castle conquest last year, i tryed to make a run from the front wall to the center tower in front off the occupied back wall, wasnt pretty, I counted 28 welts on my front alone and at least that many on my back.

Hi Cphilp well they have pretty much healed up only slight marble effect from the nasty inner arm one and the left leg they were the bleeders though

This was reffing not playing Shame on me if I ever got lit up like that from playing! Ive taken on 30 recballers and not got a welt lol

Ok so I was being sencible and holled ou in our fort at the time..........

Rec ball hell no sup air all the way the really nasty hand shots were the result on rec ball 4 years on and I still have slight scars.

paintball is what I do its my life now so a few welts is not a big deal unless it's summer and I want to wear shorts or a skirt. They did stop me going to water world park I don't think those sort of welts help our sport.

Saying that the first question is normally are you ok love followed by dose he hit you?...........

Being a girly glam type of a girl I do find peoples rections amsusing when they find out what I do any way back to welts.........

I went to bunker a guy and he came out before I got there. He shot me in the leg once and on my upper body twice. I was wearing my jt pants/short and I had the legs off. That was September 8th of last year, and it has scared my leg. I was bleeding pretty bad when it happened.

anyway, sparklie showed me a couple of her arm welts at world cup..and I thought I bruised badly!

yes I thought it was some what less than diserning comment.

Thanks clare well maybe I do bruise badly strange thing is I got bonus balled by lock out and not one welt and that was far closer than most of the hits I took reffing.

Personnally I still think the paint was a big factor these welts were substained whist reffing mostly novice and roookie games and the paint was bouncing off barakades and then off me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I rest my case

They won't stop me reffing again I will just wear even more padding next time :)
