AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
If anyone is flying in and needs picked up at the airport, please let me know. I would be more than happy to do it. I will not be able to pickup more than two people at a time, depending on the amount of gear.
BTW: the Pittsburgh Internation Airport (Airport Code PIT) is about 45 - 1 hour away from the field. Nice think is, it's just about a straight shot up 279N and you get to drive through the city.
(or you can tank 79N, but that get's messy going north bound from the airport)
Man, this is an excellent idea. Hopefully I'll be able to make it up there though from Chicago, long drive. Can probably hitch a train ride or get plane tickets. I refuse to miss this event :-D. I hope as many of you guys make it as possible. This event is gonna rock hard!
Well if I get my X-mag by then, Can convince my wife (who will have our second child in march), and get the Navy to let me take a helicopter and two flight students (and all my gear) I'll be there. I may have to fed-ex my gear to my dad in Pittsburgh, due to weight restrictions in the tiny helicopter but I think it's possible! Time to look for students who play paintball!
Hmm, I'm thinking of going to this event, but manike has pointed out that the dates are the same for the Long Island Big Game, which is closer to me. It's gonna be a tough choice, but one that I won't have to make until 3 months before the event (maximum allowed time to put in for PTO).
There are three kinds of people in the world: Those who can count, and those who can't.
With understanding comes understanding.
If the saying is true that we are what we eat, aren't we all just cannibals?
