Ok, here is what I want to do. Since I do not play much paintball any more, but for some reason still like to hang around you guys....I plan on filming some if not all of the event. I don't have really high tech equipment, but I do currently have two Digital 8 cameras and hope to have a third before the event. I also plan on looking into small wireless cams with decent quality. if anyone knows of some let me know. I would like to ask a few people to use either hopper cams or a mask cam. I have pretty decent editing gear, and since it is all going to be digital I can toss it to DVD when all done.

So who is with me? Who want's to be a camera monkey? Who is willing to wear a mask cam?

Let me know I can bring my camcorder too. I have a minidv digital camcorder. You can transfer the data directly via firewire port if you have one. I am in for camera monkey, are you going to film my secret burger ingredients?

I have a DV camcorder that I'd be willing to bring, and I can work something out for powering a bunch of stuff so we don't rely on batteries for the day. And I'm willing to spend a good chunk on time to help. Contact me and let me know what we need to to make this happen.

That is why I need him to film it. Its secret to me too and I have to be in the right state of mind to be able to recreate them.

If anyone wants to bring and film with their MiniDV or Digital 8 cams (as long as it has a firewire jack) go for it. I'll bring my laptop to the field and we can dump the video down into Premiere. Or if you want, just give me the tapes, I'll take them home, dump them and then mail them back to you.

For the mask cams, I will have at least two (one for each side), and maybe more. I am looking at the small "lipstick" tube cams and the micro transmitters. For the loader cams, I was thinking of using the X10 wireless cams. They do not have great picture, but it's not too bad and they lend them selves well for loader mounting. They are also cheap and self contained. I already own two of them and plan on giving it a shot before the meet. If they work out, I will buy two more.
