Well I will be playing with it in its partically finished state until I can get the Battery pack, XValve and ULE Grip Frame finished. I have an anno'ed battery pack that I can cut up, but I would rather get a raw one. The ULE is kinda sorta in the middle of being shipped along with my Xvalve Flatline reg and 88 4500 flatline tank...

Just a little update. Started working on polishing. Came out ok, but there are a lot of machine marks and I need to get a few differnt compunds than I have and a better cutting wheel.
The Chipley Neck now looks about as good as its going to get, with the rough way I did the neck turning. Its glossed to very close to teh nickel finish.
The flames took the polish better than I thought they would, I still have I think some hand work on those to get them where I want them.
But so far so good. Still no grip frame from Brad yet and i still have not been able to get a Raw battery pack but I am working on it.
Btw - doing polishing work is messy !

Ok, its still rough, but it is way better than it was. It had started to oxidize quite a bit and just looked like poo.
I have priced out the anno I want, looks to be about $300 with all the parts I want done.

Tony - tobe honest the oxidation was way worse than I expected and a lot of people actually like the flame work so I am just going to make it a one off with some intresting anno.
