seriously though, normal rt/xvalved mags can do plenty good in a tournament sceane, and i love how small they are

I personally don't plan on buying an xvalve or anything until I ever play in tournaments or anything, I don't feel like I need a high rate of fire to get people out and whatnot, 8 balls seems good enough to me

Peach is probably right. Either it was the emag on/off pin or they messed with the stock pin. Messing with your on/off pin = gun broken.

The reactive trigger on the RT is similar to the Tippman response trigger only in that a rod in the grip frame returns the trigger with some force. At a normal operating pressure (the listed suggested imput pressure on the underside mainbody of your marker) you will feel a little kick back when you pull the trigger. If fool around with it you might get a double or triple tap every now and again. The tippman uses waste gas after the marker fires to power a piston that returns the trigger. You can dial up or down the ammount of gas that pushes back on the trigger. I could easily shoot 4-6 balls and on occasion I could go basically full auto if I held my finger just right.

Phil, my pin is shortened quite a deal on my minimag w/ rt valve. His is probably to small. It's not bad for he marker neccisarily if you keep it within reasonable sizes... But if he cant pull the tigger back without letting off more then 1 shot, it may be fun, but its nottourney legal. Shorter pins make you shoot faster, and the input pressure gives the trigger more bounce. You can walk the thind line inbetween tourney legal and nit by shaving .002 off your pin size. It's all about experimentation with input pressure and pin size. I have mine just about perfect: 1 FAST pull back and release = 1 shot. Anything else you try and it will jsut run away at extreamly high ROF... I need to buy a halo for it because the revy cant throw them in there fast enough... Even with the intelli-feed starting a good 1mm before the actual shot.

Anyways, good luck with ur buyings... Just ask the guy to put in a regular size pin... If it shoots slower or less-reactive, then just mess around with pin size... The sear is no biggie... If it has an AGD frame get the correct leng and adjust it....

          Just my opinion...
