nice job!

i like #1...what about (after a while)...allowing members with more seniority to buy different colored patches...just differences in piping-colors...yellow/blue/red/etc...

just a thought...maybe first run purchasers get one color, then we start with blue for "ao newbies"...yellow for people with 500 (or whatever) posts, etc...

I dunno about that idea. It seems segregating the AO'ers into different color groups is kind of strange. For example, I think I have more posts, and have been here longer than Manny from Aftershock but I don't feel "senior" over him.

Yes, I dont like the senority thing. I have been here since back in the days of andy (even pre-shineybluesheets background). I had lots of posts in the olden days, and I still post here and there now, but just because i dont have thousands of posts doesnt mean I'm not senior to many people here. I would vote for just one design for everyone (we all are equal after all).
Oh ya, cancel my earlier vote, im now voting for the load sm5 version I photoshoped up.

WOW! lots of replies, well, were listening and some good suggestions, though the diferent colors for different 'senorities' isnt very practical, we will have at most one design, no if and or buts, though we can have up to two color schemes for the one design kinda like patches one and two, same design, two color schemes, though, we will only be getting 50 of each color if we do two colors. I know if I wouldnt want to 'have' to buy a new patch color if I got higher post counts... this way, you buy the one you like, and its good for as long as you want and such. keep the comments and such coming!

currently the patches arent in production, we posted here first to get the reactions of you AOers before putting our money into something... though, once we settle on a 100% Finished design, from what you tell us, we'll more than likely put them into production, we want these things as bad as you do! Once we have the first batch of 100 in hand, we'll let you know where to send payment and such, so just hold on, it will be a little longer yet until we actually have them to sell... and were goign as fast as we can!

It's gotta be blue I don't like gold. Silver, yeah. Gold, nope.
I definately want one. Maybe I can bug my sister in law with the fancy sewing machine to embroider a small patch to go below it. This one would proudly say "Shaft"

Black/Blue AO Patch Design 2 Looks more sexy!

What about Red and Black? Or White and Black, and if you wanna get real creative if you ever saw those new Air force patches that are in a circular shape but have feather wings coming out of the side that cross, well you can replace the feather wings and use E-mag's!!!
