i got my nubbins

well my nubbins came in today. so far they look nice. Iwont be able to provide feedback until saturday when i go to practice. Hopefully they help out because my mag has been chopping lately. I will keep everyone updated. Thank God I like in the Chicagoland area.

Oh well. I don't care for CPX...or more specifically, the staff there, so I don't intend to go there again. Nothing against you of course.

What don't you like about CPX staff?
I don't like the fact that they are always understaffed and heavily geared to hosting private games over rec. I do like theme fields though.

That why we don't deal with the staff. I usually never make it to the rec fields. Also we deal with people we know, not too much of the regular staff. I refuse to go back on Armaggedon myself since I broke my ankle on it. The staff didn't seem to care too much, after I was helped off the field they continued the game. I finaly had to hop back to the benches with some help. Thats another story.

Well the one time I went there (after they became 'extreme'), me and two other guys (all in our late 20's - early 30's) were walking back to the staging area since we got shot out.

The game we were playing in was still going on, but it was the 2nd game at that particular field, so everyone was going to come back anyway.

While we were walking back, minding our own business, some ref at the 'small town' field stopped reffing his game to YELL at us about, and I quote, "leaving the playing field unattended". I don't think there was any way he could've mistaken us for some 10 year old Boy Scouts. You might expect something like that from a younger referee perhaps, but this guy was older than we were.

I go to play paintball to have fun, not to get yelled at by some idiot, let alone some idiot who's employed by a field that I PAID to play at and where I had to buy field paint.

That's why I don't go there anymore. I pretty much only play at the Badlandz now. The staff there is real cool and you can bring your own paint if you want to. Even if you buy field paint, it's very reasonably priced.

I have yet to go to Badlandz. I got hooked on Bedlam and Armegeddon at CPX this summer.
Armegeddon is a harsh field. I suspected that it'd be too harsh for paintball.
What other fields do you guys like?
