    Since a large percentage of barel breaks are caused by the bolt nicking the "ball in waiting" the best way to simulate this would be to poke a small hole in a paintball with a straight pin. Load the paintball with the hole up (not facing forward or backward, toward the bolt) and fire it. It shouldn't take many tries to get a break.

          Take a stick squeegee or pencil or something, and pish 1 paintball down the barrel, about half way, then shoot one ball like regular, it will break both ablls in the barrel.
