Both my Spectras (normal and Flex 7s) I tore the earpieces off and re-glued them with super glue.

They just use some adhesive tape from the factory, and it sucks. If you get a pair, rip off hte ear foam and reglue the earpieces. Problem solved.

Agreed ... I have had my Flex-7 since around 99-00 (forgot when), and have had no problems with them. Have changed the lenses twice and they still continue to function great ...

About the only mask I have thought about going to is the V-Force Morph, just for the ease of lens changing.

I believe the JT Proteus to be a safer mask. They have ridgid plastic around the eyes to protect them. I have seen what a close range shoot to an invision can due. The invisions are made of a softer plastic and have a "flex" near the goggles. The problem is that when you take a shot a close range they flex at this point and can allow the ball to slide thru. The person recieved cuts to his check and the hit cause him to recieve a bruised eye. The official word from DYE was if your not happy send the mask back. He got his check this week. The invision is a nice mask but probably better for rec play were bunkering and close shots are not allowed. Just my 2 cents.
