If you sanded the mag then primed it then carefully added the black coats and maybe even clear coat it after that it would probably come out pretty good.Comment

It doesn't look like this has been brought up yet, but Painting your mag body will void the warranty. It's best to get it powdercoated (as I think powdercoating doesn't void the warranty... Or I haven't heard that it does) or to get a ULE and a cocker-threaded barrel

hey Cryer, could you clarify this? Is this because plating adds thickness to the body and will mess with the tolerances? Powdercoating isn't that thick I suppose right?Originally posted by Cryer
