What is the difference between the 2? I was looking at buying one and was wondering what the dif is. On www.paintballgear.com is it a Halo or a Halo B. If you could help i would appreciate it. Thanks a lot

The patent infringement had nothing to do with the design of the HALO A. The HALO B is a much improved version of the HALO A because the A did not work well on some guns.Comment

You guys all forgot the most important thing about a HALO A: it's a freakin blender!!!! The B is much better, the best hopper out there in my opinion. The halos on pbgear that you mentioned are B models, I e-mailed 'em a month or two ago asking, just be sure (you can never be too sure when dealing with action village
). If you've got the money, GO FOR IT!! You shan't be dissapointed.

Alright, When you buy the Halo B make sure you get the latest software too. The version right now is "TE." This version of software has cut down on the amount of power you suck from those batteries resulting in longer run times.
You can tell if your Halo has the latest software if the motor runs continuously when you power it up. If it does short spins (and then stops) you have older software.
Halo As are not anymore sold but they are still supported through Odyssey Paintball. This means that the Halo As will not have the latest software installed on the hopper
I hope some of this information helps
At Actionvillage.com, that is the Halo B. I just don't know what the software is they have on those. You might get lucky and get the "TE" version.

no mine happened while working on my gun with the battery pack disconnect from the halo but in the compartment i heard about that halo over at pbreview i think theres something messed up with a batch of halos or something i emailed them about it but they dont get back till like next week or some crap like that

And good luck trying to get a HaloB if you want one. That company sucks ! I've had a Halo B on backorder at paintballgear.com since the beginning of February !! I called Odyssey and they keep telling me about all the problems they're having with this and with that. I'm about to tell them to shove their hoppers up their **S !! They really do suck ! Great customer service when they can't even fill their orders. The guy at paintballgear.com said a lot of people are cancelling their backorders for the Halo's and going with the Evolutions. I might do that soon.Comment
