Yeah that was my first thought was the mopes at pbgear.com but after talking to them I called Odyssey and they said they haven't been producing any at all so it's obviously their fault.

My halo A was a total blender.. it was HORRIBLE! I couldnt shoot 1 paintbal without a break. I recently sent it in for the upgrade and it came back, with the new TE software. I have put around a case thru it so far and its like heaven. Not one break, or chop, and it is HELLA quieter than the halo a... I love it :)

You can tell if your Halo has the latest software if the motor runs continuously when you power it up. If it does short spins (and then stops) you have older software.

Halo As are not anymore sold but they are still supported through Odyssey Paintball. This means that the Halo As will not have the latest software installed on the hopper

I hope some of this information helps

At Actionvillage.com, that is the Halo B. I just don't know what the software is they have on those. You might get lucky and get the "TE" version. :)

looks like i have the old stuff, do u know if i can upgrade it? how much?

to upgrade a halob to TE software is $10 plus $6 for shipping
so for $16 bones you have a halo thats quieter and dont eat batteries as much
