While I agree and acknowledge what everyone has to say about the copy right problems I really think I have to agree with digitard. I agree at first when I was directly using the matrix code it could have been a problem along with using the direct quote but after completely ditching those and creating a completely new custom AGD/matrix code I dont see how there would be any problems using it. It was succesfuly used in the AO Memebership cards without any problems its seems. Why would it be any different now? I don't think you can say that just be cause it looks similar to The Marix that it is copyright infringment. A direct quote or copy of the code is one thing but the latest ones are far from that so I dont see any problems but I will continue with the simple non Matrix ones for now as well as possibly some new Matrix themed ones later if desired.

I've been to Wisconson many times just not in winter. But the weather here is bad we had an ice storm that covered everything in ice, in APRIL!

I was referring to Hell, MI which is a real place.
                  Sorry to get off track.

Ok, well since we dont have the shots that i could do it from, i need to post the idea, and hope that it wins, and that tom would be willing to take the pictures. Clare already said she would deffinitely do the pics if the idea won so here it goes....

First off, split screen bilboard James bond theme

As all james bond movies start off, with looking down the barrel, then james walks in, shoots, and you see ther blood driping down, well heres my idea

left side(while facing the board, left hand side), you are looking down a tear drop barrel(teardrop because it has the most"prominent" rifling pattern of all the barrels that could be seen with light shining through the ports) THen through the barrel, you see a paintballer with a splat or 2 on his mask.

Below that picture, you say. X-mag with lvl 10 and ace, you never miss your shots

then, on the other side of the screen you are again looking down the barrel, but instead of it being clear and shiney, you see goo starting to run down, and then you see clare pointing the x-mag in the direction of the "shooter"

then below that, you say... with everything else, all you get is splooge

I think this would be a great idea, not olny because it is mine but also because james bond is hip, james is cool, and james always takes pride in his work.

It isnt matrix, but it would work, and i think once the shots were taken, it would be very easy to put to gether.

I borrowed JAM's billboard pic to make this work in 2D.

The bunker; legs; torso; arms and marker; and head are all on different seperated layers. Each layer is then extruded from the back a bit further than the previous, giving a slightly different look from many angles. I'll add some other work-ups but this gets the basic idea across pretty well.

What the intent of my post was that by using a concept or idea for commercial advertisment you could possibly be hit for theft of what is known as intellectual or artistic property. This is all dependant upon what type of copyrights exist for the Matrix. Things like ID cards and things are not out for all of the public to see so most corporations would never even know thwy are out there. But when you make a billboard that is seen by the public you could open yourself up to litigation. Better to error on the side of not going to court because even if you are cleared of any wrong doing in the end you still have to pay for your own defense.
