Anything To Reduce Mags Gashog

is there anything that is worth the money of buying it to reduce the mags taste for gas.... just wondering any help would be greatly appreciated

probably not what your looking for...but you can buy a bigger tank. i get about 800 from an 88ci even with only getting 3000 psi fills.

they're working on methods to make them more effecient(AGD) but Tom Kaye said they haven't had any really improved results.

i heard something about a rat valve or soemthing a long time ago... but anyways i was jsut wondering because mags eat gas like a *****

the rat valve would be for the autococker

The mag by its design will be less efficient than well built cocker. (one is higher input pressure due to dual reg, and second is due to basic design) input pressure will account for couple hundred shot. I got 88/4500, and 72/4500 tanks and they work just fine, even with less than ideal fill. I do have 45/4500 tank that I use for my cocker.

Getting a barrel that fits your paint will help a lot.

The paint has been running very small lately and this is leading to efficiency problems without a good paint to barrel match. Go to a smaller barrel and try again.

Ditch the ported barrel, run a good paint to bore match and your efficiency will be fine.

You can get more shots out of your tank if you get good paint to barrel match, and if you keep your gun internals and your bolt well oiled and taken care of.
I can get ~1200 shots off my 88/30K tank (at full) before velocity starts to drop.

i've never really had any efficiency problems with any of my mags, i mena just deal with it it isn't that bad, i mean i don't even notice it, and if u really want more shots geta bigger tank like adam said, i have an 88 4500 on my current set-up and i get about 1300 or 1400 shots out of it.

go with what black said and ditch barrel porting, I love lapco barrels, little porting and great performance.

When I use my bigshot with good paint match I see up to and sometimes over 200 extra shots compared to my freak with a good match (freak has lots o porting)
