    x-valve

I just bought my x-valve and I am not very satisfied with it. Is it only me or do other people think this to. I say this because it cost $325 and you cant fire much faster unless you sweetspot but that is illegal so what is the point of them besides that they can recharge very fast but you dont need that unless you have an e-mag or hyperframe so what is the point? Now I think I am going to my mag and getting an impy is this smart or not, I really just want a gun that I can walk and it preforms like a mag. What should I do?

Well compare it to a stock valve. That right there will show you the difference. I can fire much faster with my Retro then I ever could with a classic valve. If you want an Impy go for it.
      Sorry, I'm old

get a shorter on/off pin, it will make it more reactive

i have a .745 on/off pin in my retro and it is VERY reactive but very hard to sweetspot, so it isn't illegal

as for being able to fire faster, you simply have to learn the trigger

and if you have a stock 1x frame on there, i highly suggest getting an intelliframe

DO NOT use an on/off that is not designed for your setup.

You're trying to compare an electro gun to a mechanical gun. Two totally different beasts. Wait until the ULT comes out. It's VERY walkable.

No he didn't... He didn't say that at all. I used the ULT at the Megameet and walked it like an electro. Shot perfectly fine.

give it time, it can fire alot faster than your stalk valve. But if you wanted a gun to walk than you shouldn't have got a mag, it's very hard to walk a mag.

What Tom actually said about walking the trigger.
So to recap, fanning or walking causes short strokes UNLESS you learn to shoot the trigger right. Some people can others can't.
This quote was taken from Tom's ULE trigger moving forward thread.
anyone who tells you there are no such things as stupid questions is lying to you so they can laugh at your questions.

its a filed-down stock retro pin...

                          can't hurt anything...

Heh... You'd be surprised. File too much, gun goes full auto uncontrollably. Get one too long, won't shoot. They are the length they are for a reason.
