I need your input on a new Emag Battery Pack!

Now that you mention it, i think it could be done. The width of the battery would be the same, and it would be 1 cm longer than the stock battery. it could be totally round, with a diameter a little smaller than the width of the standard battery.

It never occured to me to check, and my original plan did not involve an alliance with data, so the proto was not made that way. Besides, i figure more people would like it this way).



For this particular design though, i do agree with cryer, the pack should be moved foward. that would lend a more smooth look to the gun.

hey I like Cryer's design, its still a little oval, but looks nice, can someone photoshop the slimline batterypack onto a marker to see how it will flow?

well you have to rember that the mount for the battery is in the back.

the battery isnt only held in place by the screw. you have to use the dovetail in the gripframe or it wont be solid.

so you have to base all your designs from the back to the front.

as for round, the battery cell would have to be reconfigured to do it. it is allways what i wanted too.

in its current config it would be wider then the gun.

I think it is fine but just a little plain. Mill a pattern on it or something...

As far as the capacity 3k is plenty for me esp if the battery was only 70% charged.

Thats uncool to an extreme...

I wonder though, why it as an inch longer. tucking the last two cells makes it 1 cm longer than stock.

DATA: if you want, draw one up as a tube (or what i would really like would be a round cornered square) which takes a battery 97mm long and 20 mm in diameter. I personally think this configuration would end up cumbersome, but people seem to want one, so try it out.

I think the straight tube looks fugly, because the modeling of the emag goes nicely with flat stuff, not round stuff.
