umm, use a box, with bubble wrap, and make sure it can't slide or move around, pack it in there tight make sure the box isn't going to open up when its being transported, ship USPS its really easy to ship with them

I always ship USPS priority, with delivery conformation, and insurance. Just make sure it doesnt move/slide around in the box, and you should be good to go.

I ship markers all the time. Yes, bubble wrap is a good idea. Also you can use foam peanuts along with the bubble wrap. Just make sure it is packed tight and does not slide around. And use a BOX.

You will not need any special markings on the package.

I too suggest using USPS. I would suggest Priority Mail with tracking. And if you like, you can insure it as well, but that is up to you.

I think about all of them(USPS, Fed Ex, UPS)are the same. Though i have had a problem with UPS before(recieveing). But USPS priority i feel is the best because its so cheap.

I ship E-Mags all of the time (sometimes gun only and other times with a couple of accessories) and the cheapest gun shipment I've ever had for one E-Mag was right about $11 with tracking. I'd love to see a gun that can ship for right around $4, especially considering Priority use to be $3.85 up to 1 pound.

Well the reason I said Fed Ex was way better was just personal experience and horror stories. For example with UPS, my friend's brother used to work there and they used to throw computers accross the room. Not to mention I've seen some UPS drivers literally THROW a package onto the neighbor's door step. And the reason I think it is better is the simple fact that Fed Ex actualy knocks on the door and waits for me to come to the door before they leave, unlike USPS and UPS.

I ship things all the time... and not just paintball related items. If the item to be shipped weighs less than 1 lbs and you don't want insurance, USPS is the best way to go. However, if the item to be shipped weighs more than 1 lbs (like a complete marker) or you want insurance or the item is an odd shape (like a long barrel) the best shipper is far and away FedEx HomeDelivery because:

                          1. FedEx has an automated tracking system. USPS Tracking sucks. Period. With USPS 1/2 the time, the package shows up before any information is updated on the web.

                          2. Insurance is included. The USPS insurance rates are skyhigh... something like $0.85 for the first $50 and it only goes up from there.

                          3. It is the cheapest shipping method. I just (Monday) shipped an item weighing ~6 lbs. in a large box for < $7 with a tracking number and $200 insurance. The exact same package (w/insurance and tracking) shipped via USPS would cost $14 or double.

                          4. FedEx has the best complaint resolution process. Have you ever made an insurance claim via the Post Office? Its like pulling teeth and requires that more than 30 days pass before a claim can be made. IME insurance claims are relatively painless through FedEx.

                          5. FedEx has extened hours. In my area the counter is open until 6:30 p.m.

                          6. If you miss an attempted FedEx delivery you can call ahead and pick it up on the same day of the first delivery attempt. This is not true of any other shipper. UPS is trying to implement a similar solution but they aren't on the ball yet.
                          My feedback.

Seems to me that $11 WITH tracking is closer to $4 than it is to $20…. Yup, it is. So I guess what I said was correct, and you helped prove it. Thanks!

and yet you seem to wonder why people think that you are condescending to them.

Anyways, Back to the main issue.

I have had good luck with UPS, their tracking is almost always up to date. This leaves both parties with a good feeling about what's going on with the package.

I personally also take pictures of marker and all accessories in box, plus pics of box at the delivery station of choice. Then send the pics to whomever I am selling to. It's my way for them to know what is going on. and what to expect will be in the box. Just a visual verification of what was agreed to.
