first let me say this: its not going to happen, this according to Tom ....

I got rid of my warp, in order to make me want one again it would have to be significantly smaller, or significantly lighter or both.

I want this to be replaced:

              with:

Should thread right into the body.

I'd like a warp that doesn't need a separate loader.

                Agreed!

The Warp Feed definetly needs an integrated loader. 2 batteries is a pain in the butt.

There may be a mod coming out soon for the warp which will run the warp and hopper off of the emag/xmag. That should cut a loada weight.

I am hesitant to release any more details as I don't know where this mod stands at the moment. We have them on our Storm edition X-mags though.

yeah you can do that now anyway by yourself.... I had my warp running off my emag battery for a while

Smaller? how do you go about making it smaller?

I think its narrow enough, and I suppose you could make the drive wheel a little smaller, but I think its fine the way it is really. I like having more balls in the drive discs because when you shoot tilted, or out the "wrong" side of a bunker it means more shots... making the warp smaller will reduce that number of shots you can get off before waiting for it to catch up.

Lighter would be nice. I suppose they could always switch over to Brass Eagle plastic, because you know Revy's are light... oh wait, bad idea. I like the plastic (or is it polycarbonate? I don't know...) on the warps. It feels so thick and strong that I don't hesitate diving with it. Making it smaller and lighter might weaken it, and I certainly don't want that. And besides, it weighs ONE freakin pound. Thats all!

A hopper/warp would be nice, but I kinda like the way it is now, having all current loaders work, instead of being forced to use one you don't need. I mean, I don't need a halo-b Speed on my warpfed gun, but if they make a "whopper" then I'll probably be forced into using it.

Really the only thing I can think of that it needs is an on/off switch and better battery terminals. You can do that yourself, but seriously, it doesnt come with a switch? thats lame...

Der! That doesn't solve the problem. The short length of the black part doesn't have enough length to make enough contact to stay on. Hence: electrical tape. If the clear part was the same size, and the black sleeve was longer, it would stay on better. I think thats his complaint.

Having one that doesn't eat batteries would be my first choise.

Of course this is one of the main issues WAS is trying to fix with the Warp board he's working on. If his board works out I'd probably start using my Warp again. In fact, I've kept my Warp left E-mag body and Automag Freak back just in case I can ever again feel confident that my Warp will feed paint reliably.

yeah sorry i didn't make it clear. I know you can do it yourself (battery mod) and many people do but there may be a mod available for retail soon (possibly). Jon @ AGD Europe will be sorting it. But on the question of upgrades that is one I have enjoyed and think it would be good to be available to all. Its made the gun or the shift in the weight alot easier to deal with. People always picked up my old Emag and said although its really really nice, it was toooo heavy, or rather the weight was shifted to one side (see warp), so I upgrade to X-mag and get the batt mod and people tell me that the gun weighs in the same as most guns.

                            Cool.
