if i remember right back in 94 people advertised mags in the 500s for the base marker. Find someone with some old APG magazines and they will be able to tell you. I bought mine for 440 base gun with crown point and back bottle adapter in early '95.

When I bought my mag in Feb of 93 I paid $735 for the following Smart Parts package:

            PF Automag
20oz Tank ( turns outthey put in an antisiphon I didnt want or need )
            Parts kit
            12" SP AA barrel

            What a deal ! :)

Thing was back then the guns were on back order to the tune of 800+ guns. I heard SP got some in and called and snagged one.

This is also the time SP doiked every one an extra $50 because you just could not find Mags.

I still have that gun and it was my tournament gun intil World Cup 2k when I "aquirred" an Emag :)

That gun has well over 1.5 millions rounds throught it now and it still runs like a champ and has only gotten better with age.

my mag is also a pre star AIR valve. Unfortunatley i donty know how old it is becaus ei bought it used. I have a feeling it was a lot cheaper when i bought it then when it was first sold. Here's the sn if anyone knows how old it is appx. that would be great. CF05240

by the way, anyone born in '88 still is young, common i was born in '86 and im not calling myself old

450 for a standard feed, pre stars, in 92. slightly up graded and it is still my main marker. Just wondering how many alum. markers that old are still running?

I paid $600 for my Minimag in 96 and that was the gun with a bottomline, expansion chamber, micro-line and a trigger job.

Took it apart a few times, and that's how I got where I am today...
