    CNC MilL Coming

Well my dad is plannig on getting a sherline cnc mill soon. He has been in machineing for about 30 years now and wants something to play with. I also had to convince him to get one. I have made bolts for spyders, cockers and tribals on a manuel mill but this will be whole other world of machineing. I have to learn g-code and is taking tech drafting so i'll learn cad soon.I have already set up a anno line and a nylon dye line for my nylon bolts but i was wondering how hard it was to mill sluggos. I was wondering how much i could mess up and it still be good. I am now milling a nylon emag battery case and a nylon rail. I'll post pics when i get them done. I have a rippled design on the nylon rails and just need to get the CNC in to mill the design on the side.

I would like to hear some experencies on milling sluggos. I would hate to mess up on one and scrape a 15- dollar sluggo.

    g-code sounds so dirty

o yeah, you might wanna just try on some pieces of plastic or just blocks of aluminum. that way you're wasting 15bux instead of 150bux

Sounds like fun. I'd love to get into that sort of stuff.

Even if you only offered one color jobs but at a really cheap price I'd bet you'd get a lot of work here. Keep it in mind.

In my collage class on computer aided manufactuing they use a wax for use to learn the codes on. If you mess up on it you can just melt it down and reuse it. So you may want to look into that.

I have a design that is going to be a product i never seen but it will help reduce profile for leaning out of bunkers.
I need to make a prodotype befor i release the info. I have designed it for electronic guns and mags not emags yet.

Well i will have the mill by the end of the month.
