Gorgeous, even better looking than x-mags perhaps and lighter too...

I still like your gz more, but maybe that's because I own a gz...not nearly as nice as your clamshelled one, of course.

No offense, but that thing is virtually identical to a unimount, only bigger and bulkier. No need to replace when unimounts already own all...but all dropless on/off set ups are awesome, so we can all be happy.

Oh, and the tank may be ugly but it's a crossfire peanut and they are so amazing if you use them...compact and balanced.

Btw, which gun of yours is your favorite now that you have this one?

Thanks! :) I used a Canon 10D 17-40mm 4/L, PS 7.0, soft focus effect that I use for weddings (gaussian blur, screen mode, curves, etc.).

Thanks for the nice complements! :) Regarding the stubby tank - I actually like it a lot. Personal preference I guess... FOR ME, it's the most compact set up to have if you use the tank as a shoulder stock. I shove the tank butt into the top of my should as a pivot point. If I use a drop, then my wrist has to curve around the tank... not as compact. In this setup, my wrist drops straight down from the grip right next to the uni-mount... super thight and compact even while walking the trigger. No elbow or wrist sticking out!

                :)
                I can't remember, it's either the 16" or 14" tip (I'll check tomorrow).

VIDEOS: I'll try to record some clips tomorrow. I have an IRQ conflict on my computer (Windows XP), and I've lost my sound!!! I may have to have my friend come over to fix my computer.

If I record video clips, I'll need someone to host them... :)

When I ordered the gun from Tunaman, he did not have the CNC battery pack yet... But, I dod like the clean simple smooth pack myself... maybe because this is my first emag? :) As far as the weight is compared to the GZ, I'll check it out tomorrow and let you know... as well as vids of both guns blazing! Muhahahaha!

Tunaman is currently the only AGD authorized person to buy RAW EMAG kits and "build" them into guns for sale. My gun, which includes the ULE body, ULE rail, ULE grip frame, and X-valve were ALL RAW aluminum kits. He polished each peice, then sent it in (same batch = same shade of gloss black anodizing) to get anoed. BTW, AGD black anodize is NOT exactly a mirror "gloss" black. It's more of a satin to flat black anodize. Anyways, after anodizing, he sent it into AGD to get registered, and then on to the laser engravers it went... that's how it got the laser engraved "tuna" ... :)

I was packing and trying to get ready to take off for Palm Springs... I guess when I was rushing to snap some quick pics for you guys, I carelessly put on the battery pack kinda crocked... Doh!

Well if thats the case, I call him a slacker. How can you show off your pimp gun, with nice pics, and not even tighten everything down. Minus 5 points.

Sorry, no. They're just regular elbows. :) If I see some, I may grab them... but only if they're chrome or black anodized... not purple or something... (no offense capo.. :))

I'll give you one thing, it was comfy! However, it was a super pain in the *** to remove, and the setscrews ended up leaving too many marks on the ASA for my taste.

IMO, a standard rail and ASA is better. It's easier to remove and puts your tank in the same place. Plus, you wont see the setscrew marks as easily.
                        I like the UNI-MOUNT because:

                        1. You can vent off the residual high line pressure (because of level 10) when you're done shooting.

                        2. Low profile

I agree with you though about the scratches and marks and how it's a pain removing the mount.

So, I guess I was correct in thinking that AGD does infact engrave the tuna on there as well as the emax at the same time? So thats what he meant when he told me that the ule kit had arrived, yippe ! I can't wait until mine is finished...

I LOVE THAT GUASSIAN BLUR EFFECT

I've used it a lot, I think it's used in anything that needs a sense of warmth, but it makes any photo look good especially if the background is a solid color. I wish I knew how to use curves though, I just autolevels it then fade autolevels cause it's so fast and comes out alright most of the time.

No... it's a 14 inch cp tip. I used a 17-40 mm wide angle lens for that picture.

At the close distance I shot it at, it makes it appear larger than normal.
