I am currently in printing, we do silk screen and many other methods of making all kinds of dudads EXCEPT the problem with silk screening, is you can pretty much go only up to 4 colors (you can make some lighter or darker though) and that is still hard. What a run on.. hah, I'll ask the teacher, I can atleast get the "stencil" made..

If anyone wants, I can scan in some of my notes on silk screen, NOT easy stuff at all. You'd have problems trying to silk screen a Jersey as well, with all those little holes.

I'm part of one of the teams that asked if we could use AO in our name as we formed from this forum. I'd love to get an AGD/AO jersey made up with our team's name on it. If everyone pays for their own shirt by giving the money to MagMan he wouldn't be making any money thus not violating the copyright and AGD would be getting some good publicity.

Actually Tom has said people could USE the NAME in a team name, as well as other stuff like it, but he was pretty clear on who those people were.

I have read quite a few of the threads on Jerseys, T-Shirts and Jackets, and I did not see Tom actually saying it was okay to make anything you wanted. If he DID, please show me.... But until you DO, you should know better than to come at me so empty handed. It only makes you look silly.

"Basically already has" is far from ACTUALLY doing something. As well as I am SURE he did not make a blanket statement that anyone can do whatever they wanted to on this issue and it would be fine with him. I don't think he would be THAT stupid. And unless he told MagMan PERSONALLY that he could do this (which I have not seen done) any permission that he MAY have given to others would not apply.

Shartley, I admit that I am simply a criminologist and not a lawyer as you apparantly are, however, I have noticed that you come off being very pompous (a trait that seems to be bread into people through law school). I realize that you are obviously highly versed in the law/legal system, however, you might need to work on "People Skills." Just because someone is misunderstood or ignorant to the law, does not mean that you have to shove the corrections in their face.
I noticed this same type of wording in an earlier post today about copy right laws (I can only assume that this is the one to which you refered). I might be way off on this since I am fairly new to the board. You very well may know everyone to whom you choose to chastize, however I somewhat doubt this. In the case to which I refer, you were pretty much downright rude.
While I fully believe that you are trying to help, and often times I find your posts very insightfull, the manner in which you "correct" people, does in my humble opinion leave something to desire.
Again please don't get me wrong, I am not attacking the logic or wisdom of your posts, just the manner in which you deliver them.

ok another idea that is going to go no where, but maybe in hopes that AGD or Shartley can get something made, check pjdesignusa.com and get in contact with dick, they make the JT, Dye, Paintball Junkies, all the lead brand jerseys, they're making jerseys for the place i work at. They're the really nice comfortable breatable style with the loose side mesh, I love it for sunny Cali but you wanna wear a tshirt under it if its a tid bit nipply out....

Chaos- I an guessing it would cost alot to have them make jerseys and produce 50 or less. No price break, and were paying aton of cash for them setting up the stencil, making the screen, etc. We'd be better off going OUT of the industry unless someone wants to help with money, or we'd never be able to afford it.

These are the old jersies I was working on about 8 months ago. They are rough drafts. They were intended to just spur some ideas is all.




If you guys really want me to, I think I could do a better job on it. I've lost all my templates so I'll have to start from scratch, but no biggie. This is all conceptual, throwing ideas around type stuff...
