Yah, I am in no way dissapointed with my X, but however, I really do not play that much right now, so i can not warrent that much money into a gun. It's for sale now, but I plan on getting another one in the beggining of next summer.

See JT, recon paid the same amount that I'm charging for my X-mag, I have 2 breaches, AND a wall charger, and not to mention the TL-63 trigger...mmm yummy....

well..I wouldn't have brought up the idea if I didn't want to hear the answer...I'm really looking at spending that kind of money and trying to justify it to myself and that's why I thought to start this thread...

The main reason for me is because if I don't like it or don't play enough or can't afford it, I can sell it and make the money I paid for it back, if not more. :)

Anyone else agree with this statement?

Don't you think I could sell my gloss black brand new xmag for $1250?

If you are lucky, seems like despite the people complaining about the wait for the X-mags, when one is available they get real quiet...

Sheesh!!! Spartan X you just can't be happy with a marker for long can you? You got the Omen and raved and raved about it then had to sell if to get an X mag. Now you have the X-mag and it is for sale as well! If money is an issue it would be better to keep whatever marker you are shooting and work on save money by not playing. You only lose cash each time you buy and resell!!! Just had to rant at you

Maybe the thread title is the problem?

                              DiRTyBuNNy and Fanatic,

Don't get depressed - perhaps the reason you are getting the responses you are is that you are getting exactly what you asked for: people with regrets. If you had asked for people to post their X-Mag opinions in general, or for people who are happy with their X-Mag, you will probably get different results.

Personally, I placed my order through RobAGD in February of 2002, and was lucky enough to be in the first batch at Christmas last year. I love mine and I have no regrets about the purchase. But then again I usually think my purchases through carefully and stick with things that work. My backup is a 1993 AutoMag (pre-classic) that still works flawlessly every time I pull it out of my gear bag.

So for me the questions are a little different: Is it the greatest thing since sliced bread? Is it the fastest marker out there? Are the features on it better than a (fill in the blank)? Frankly, I don't care. It's exactly what I wanted, was absolutely worth the wait, and no shiny new cocker, angel, timmy, matrix, or viking will change that...

I honestly expected to see a lot more people regretting their purchase than I have seen so far..yes..I'm asking for people with regrets but so often on this forum you see things getting glossed over with a candy coating that just don't ring true with the amount of money people are having to fork over for these markers..
