AO:
I'm ready after several years to dump my beloved AA Armageddons in favor of a lighter, (still adjustable) air system. The combination of the rail, chunky/blocky reg, and the stainless steel "Arm" (the part that is attached to the bottle and screws into the reg) all adds up to a hugely bloated system. It is built rock solid - but just plain weighs enough anymore that it is a pain. Since I exclusively play with 68ci bottles anymore, I don't really need the "screw off the reg bottle feature" anymore.
Anyhow, onto the question at hand, I'm turning to everyone for advice on where to go next. Please feel free to offer comments on any adjustable systems, but keep in mind I'm looking for consistency, weight, and availability of parts.
Here's may thinking on the systems I know about and none jump out at me:
4500 Flatline - can't get them from what I hear...
MaxFlo - got one, like the newest style but am boycotting SP due to suit... Unproven (newest one)
MacDev - VERY touchy about dirt - can require a lot of service.
AA Alum Apoc - kinda ready to try someone new... Also still looks heavy.
Angel Air - heavy , inconsistent...
Centerflag - put off by looks...
As you can see I'm having issues with just about all of the options - can any offer any others - or persuade me on any of the ones listed?
Thanks,
-Calvin

)anyways if you get a good preset for it that should work just as good for $100 dollars less.
