Matrix vs. Impulse

Well, I'll tell you a secret....

there will be a new matrix released at world cup

after that the price on great condition used matrix's will be lower cause everyone WILL want a new one.

You wont be able to run a stock Matrix at an acceptable pace. At the very least, you'll need to buy an LPR and a bolt kit. If you do cough up the cash for them, it will be a very nice gun. Those two upgrades together will run you $170 at the least, and in the $200s if you want the very best (SCM, Evolve Bolt Kit). Last I checked, you can get stock trixes for $630-$640 now. So you'll be spending about $805 on it.

For $750 you could also pick up a stock Viking, flies right out of the box. You may also want to consider holding out for the Powerlyte Isis at Cup if everything runs smoothley for them (I read that they are having some problems with the SP patent).

Yea, I'd pick up at least the bolt kit and lpr if I get a trix. Vikings aren't really my thing, my friend had a WASd viking...I couldn't shoot it for anything.
I wanna stick with the matrix, but nobody has the stock LEDs in stock.

matrix becuase:
A. you can upgrade them to the point that they RIP for just around 200 bux if its an led
b. you can get a fully upgraded led matrix for 500-600 used.
c. smart parts suxors(lol)

Pbnation. I got mine there, and put some money into it, I've now spent a total of 660 on it, and it has: Image bolt kit, gun 20 chip, J&J full tilt, stock cocker barrel, shocktech lpr, centerflag inline, bob long torpedo, centerflag gauge, and an aardvark switch trigger. Only reason its 660 instead of 600 is because I just got the torp the other day and it cost 60. Best marker for the price range, it rips and doesn't chop. Only other marker i'd ever take over it is a Timmy due to the fact that its lighter.

for 650 youre better off with a viking. hands down the fastest gun ever. not only that, but now it has WAS, eyes, and you can get it to run at 55 psi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you get a sick ammount of shots/tank, they're LIGHTER THAN THE TRIX AND PULSE, AND THEY ARE A HECK OF A LOT SMALLER AS WELL!

Where can I get Vikings (even used) for $650? They also run in the high 100's, they CAN cycle at 55 psi, but I think in the 60s is normal. Awesome guns though, I would kill to own one.

With a well broken in marker and the SCM 55 is possible. You could find one used for 650, but ya they're faster, more efficent, more reliable, have better electronics and are built better than both those guns (same with most guns)

check out the rat imps at e-paintballoutlet.com They are nice, but ive never shot the led trix, only the lcd, If ur front i would actually go w/ a rat imp. If u look at rats look at the rjr college pack. Best deal on a gun! ever. ONLY 560 and they come fully loaded!
