I think people are forgeting this is going to replace all am/mm rails, and its considered a "budget" rail, not some brand new ULE Milled out work of art.

For what your going for Tom I really like it.

i guess its okay, but i wouldnt be like " oh my god that is awesome!!! " if i saw it in a shop. i think something that appeals to the masses, not just AO people in here, is what would do good. If you could integrate the body rail into the grip and vert asa in a way that made them seem as one, but still seperate parts, that would be awesome. Not to boast, but i milled my own rail, and people at tournies came up and asked where i got it and wanted me to do one for them. I used a dremel, which takes forever, so i declined. But im sure with a cnc mill at your hand you could do a much better job wit hthe whole flame milling thing. I dunno i just milled it how i thought itd look cool, other people may like other things. here the link to the thread http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...hreadid=103380

mill some of the aluminum out from under the valve... make it a bit lighter still

otherwise, the gen-2 rail is very nice!

Will they work with the hyperframe since the frame has the dovetail design? On the stock rail the hyper "keys" on in a way. Its a very sexy rail and would be interested in 1 for both our mags if they work with the frame.

I agree with this statement, I think that it could be designed to "flow" as gibby said, better with the rest of the parts. It seems to far out of its place, as it doesnt match any other lines on the gun.

I agree that it doesn't quite flow...it would look very very nice if it sort of "cradled" the body more. Then it would look very much like it belonged.

Exactly... It needs to hug the body a bit more imho.

The rail just needs to flow more into the body and the VA, then it would be absolutely beautiful. As it is, it's ok. Nothing that gets my juices flowing, but perhaps there could be more than one version of it?
