its a carter Comp. Buzzards are side cocking, while comps are undercockers.

It is a Comp. I am trying to figure out if it's an NW or Carter. The problem is that NW used the same parts to make the Comp as Carter did (seeing as Nicky Wilson was Carter's wife)

If the wooden grip panels are glued on, its a carter... if they're screwed on, its a NW... at least that was the way to tell as it was decribed to me at Castle Conquest when some guys were poring over really old unidentified nelson pumps...

that one looks pretty nice... california bottle setups are too cool!

                    That's a custom.

That is called a ''Frank Gun '' it was made by a man named Frank , has a very custom valve assembly , pumping is similar to a sniper II and only 58 were made.

It looks close to a frank gun however the sight rail is different as well as the cocking system.
The frank gun is a side cocker mine is a bottom cocker.
Oh yea the grips are screwed on mine has the grips glued on.

What the hell are you smoking cause I want some! First off, it pumps nothing like a sniper II. If you would have said that it pumped more like a Phantom, someone might actually believe you.

hmm..ok...so it's a nelson based pump. Still nothing like a Sniper II

Edit: If you want to compare it to something that people know, tell them it works like a Trracer or Hornet

It's not even a distant cousin to a Sniper 2, a Sniper 2 is what the cocker pneus were put on to make it an AUTOmated COCKing pump gun. It's a Nelson based gun, which most mid 80's pumps were.
