i only found out that paintball existed about 6 years ago. its crazy to see all these guns from the 80s and people remembering them and talking about them. just thought its kinda cool how far paintball has come and how people actually played it and got into it since before i was even born. from those simple pumps to high tech electros w/ multiple function lcd screens, amazing rofs, breach sensors, etc....... it really is crazy.

I've been playing 13 years, 14 in June. I came in right after the NelSpot era as PMI introduced the PMI DF and PGP's and such.

I started playing in 92 so pumps were still common, but semi's were starting to take over. I did play one game in 89 with what I think was probably a Splattmaster, but to be honest I can't remember.

My vote goes to a Carter, but not many made Carters and NWs made it out my way back in the day. It's been ages since I've held either. My gut tells me that's not an unreasonable ebay auction, you should get a good price for it considering the awesome shape.
