cphilip: sorry for the potty mouth and thanks for the warning!

im not saying that i wouldnt jump on the idea of my parents buying me paintball things, i would love it, but all im saying, and i should have worded it different in the 1st post, is i hate the lil kids that throw there markers or shoot 100000 rounds in a game and its all out of there parents pockets and they continue to do these things cuz mommy and daddy will buy them new things. im not jelous either it just makes me mad when i see these things occur...i just wish that i had that kind of $ to throw away...im not really complaining im just venting. i just dont like to see little kids crying and getting more $ when i see hard working kids crying and not getting anything

PyRo: thats funny cuz my parents still take it away and if i sayin gonna call the cops they pics up the phone and dial for me...it sux bad man, i have nazi parents

        15

I am 15. I shoot a viking (FOR TRADE FOR A REALLY NICE IMP< I WILL ADD CASH)
I got an air tank and rev.

I work at the local paintball place.

I pay for everything. If kids parent are rich, good for them.

I always see 12 year old with IR3s.

        They are spoiled lucky bastards.

              ok here is my opinion...

First a little backround: My parents DO have the money to buy me a nice gun. But they dont, nor do i ask for them to. I probably would have a few years ago, but i realized why they dont spoil me, and i agree with them.

There reasoning, and mine, is that if you have to work for something when your my age and your parents dont pay, your at the age where YOU can go out and take initiative to get money. And if you have the "fire inside you" now and you want to go out and work for your stuff youll get that attitude, and then when it is time where you have to go out and work for your stuff you will. Instead of, like alot of spoiled kids do, rely on your parents for money. I think this is a pretty good reasoning and it is what i will do to my kids, if i have any.
On a side note you also take much better care of things you work for. As my dad has always said "easy come, easy go"
And yet another side note it feels good to look around and realize that YOU have paid for your stuff, i guess it goes back to above about the apreaciation you get for stuff when you pay/work for it.

another thing, its not so much that they have what they have, but how they treat what they have... i know to many rich kids who are always at my door asking me to fix thier marker... or who throw thier gun when they are angry or chuck thier stuff in the corner of thier room... again... apreaciation.
Last week i thought i was indecisive, but now im not sure anymore...

not everyone out there steals their parent's credit cards and go on a shopping spree.
