A 24 in. barrel, is it even worth it?

ti doesn't really make you look like a nood, 14 isn't16 isn't, edging on it, and 18 and above is def. unless u liek smacking people with ur barrel

i still have the stock 8in on mine =(
its ok but anything beyond 50ft....not exatly a SP AA standard.

Thanks for the input guys, this guy defintily does not know what he is doing. For instance, he recently bought an auto-cocker (2001 I think) and decided in the middle of the day that he liked his spyder better and has never used his cocker since. But just to clarify, the reason a barrel that long decreases speed of the paintball therefore causing more co2 to be use is because as the paintball travels down the barrel the pressure behind it is equalized because it is so friggin long and now the paintball has stopped acceclerating and because of the friction between the barrel and the ball, the ball slows therefore, in order to reach a good speed, you would have to put a lot more pressure behind the ball so that it will take longer for the pressure behind the ball to neutralize. Is this right?

I use to think 14"-16" barrels were too long, but after getting a 16" Boomstick, I won't use anything else. It just feels much more "balanced" and is necessary to play tight on airball bunkers.

OMG that guy is such a dikhead, you should have laughed at him. People with long barrels are target pratice because they can barely move, those are the people to look for to bunker. I'ed say around 75-90% of performance is the player him or herself.

Yeah, all he does is sit back in hiding and snipe, he consider's himself the best player with the best gun in our paintballing group but personaly I am 16 and have better gear, and am a better player than this 36 year-old man. Unfortunatley he owns the company most of the people I paintball with work for so his self-declared supremecy goes unchallenged. On one occasion I was the last player on my team and there were 3 guys, this guy included, looking for me, I had been stalking the 24 in. guy and his buddy for about 5 minutes before I got an open shot and one paintball later he was eliminated, he was so mad that I shot him that he charged me and hit me with about 6 paintballs from 10 feet away.

Well, like I said, most of the guys I play with work for him so if I paintball with them, he is always invited and these guys are the only people in my area that paintball regularly, plus they are cool guys, just not him.

the guy is just ignorant if he thinks he is superior to you and the people you play with. i can't stand people like that. the longest i've played with is a 14 and i found that kind of awkward. i have a 12" teardrop on my imagine and found that that is the perfect lengh for me.

ahhhh nothing like reaching out and touching someone.... from tor starting position...

I have a 15" and 13" J&J Edge kit. Custom backs, 1" longer than stock, and the regular tips. Very nice
