Time for evo 2 or halo?

I was screwing around with my marker, I normally keep it on multi fire at 8bps, but i decided to practice my trigger pulls, I can rather easily out fire my revvy 12v xboard, on semi auto, im firing about 11-14 bps, and chopping many (i NEVER chop at lower bps) so im forced to conclude (since all breaks were chopps) that my hopper isnt keeping up, so im in the market for a faster one, im trying to figure out what would be better for my gun (e-rex pro) the evo2 or the halob, im pretty sure the evo would be better, cuz my gun might not beable to take the pressure of the halo.

Although a 12vt should be fine, especially on an Erex, if you want the best get a halo. They are built ford tuff, and are extremely fast with EXCELLENT customer support. On the contrary, Eggs are almost the opposite of that. Eggs are basically built to be economical force feed fast hoppers...which they pull off well. If money is an issue, get an egg, otherwise get a halo. Personally, I would recomend you look into issues other than the hopper because a 12vt can feed far past 8bps, or I would recomend you just save your money for a new gun like a BKO, again, if money is an issue.

I am going to say the Y-board evi(the Z-board seems like a bad idea) Your marker wont outrun it, and its alot cheaper than the halo.

Actually its claim is that its not faster, but AS FAST as Halo B's current average...aparently they dont know halos are faster than there advertised speed, so even if they could beat halos advertised speed, they prolly couldnt.

Halo B, in fact get a red one so you can be just like me I've never had a problem with mine. The good thing I like about the one I have is when the batteries are on their last legs the whole thing just shuts off rather than slowing down in speed. Just something I noticed with mine.

i have had both and i personally like my prebrass eagle revi better

but out of the halo or evo i like the evo w/yboard
never had a prob with it. no shell probs or anything.

the halo on the other hand has had to be sent in 3 different times. all 3 times it was for motors going bad

There's a lot more maintence and more things that can go wrong in a halo, plus they feed too fast. By too fast I mean that a lot of times the last ball will be slammed into the breech and break it, or it will push paint past your detent and actually cause chopping.

Personally I'm not shooting more than 13 or 14 bps so the egg works fine for me. It's also a bit lighter (2 oz, but people buy x-valves for a 3 oz difference) and holds more paint.

With an erex (get it erex?) you might want to try a sound activated loader like the empire reloader. They have the same feedrate as the Revvys, but are sound activated and will feed better. I personally think an egg2 would be slight overkill with your marker, and you would probably spend almost as much for the Halo as you did your gun.

heh, i found out im not paying for it if i get one (xmas rocks, even tho like 2 months away) but by then ill prob have bought an eggy, cuz this hopper i buy will also be for future guns (i tend to keep stuff like that) kinda like my j&j pro barrel for my old victor, im using that on the e-rex right now, but ima just keep my rate lower untill i can figure out a way to convert a revvy xboard into a sound loader or constant loading (eat battries like mad tho)

try out both and see what you like, you don't need the extra bps from the halo(which costs about $30 more) if you can't shoot 22bps. so try out both and see what you like. i heard the egg 2 can be set to how fast it feeds too.
