Well I got a good one for you guys.

Took a guy out to play for the first time. There's a river bed we sometime go play at when we're feeling cheap.

The kid...he's like 21-22 is crouching behind some brush...crouching where he's kinda spread wide...

So he get shot at takes one right in the sack, we hear this weird howl/gargle noise and see him slumped forward resting against the butt of his marker with the barrel in the dirt.

Funny as hell....for us.

Find out the dumb a** was wearing his warm up pants commando.

Yea uh you're playing paintball dude why are you wearing just warm up Adidas pants w/o anything else.

i never wear a cup. i don't want to hurt my twig 'n berries but i don't want to have a hard cup strapped to them either, so when i take it off at the end of the day, my crotch is sweaty and wetter than the sea.

You end up forgetting about a cup after you're used to wearing one. I'd rather be slightly uncomfortable down there for a few hours than be in pain for a very long time and possibly have one of the twins removed. Makes sense to me. Also playing three sports that requires them helps.

I don't play with a cup on my own preference/stupidity.
But knew of a kid who did a he recieved a couple of shots on the spot and swears the pain was still unbearable (frickin wuss). In the same day I also got lit up along the groin area. However I wear my pants so the crotch hangs about 3 inches below anything important and a pair of gym shorts underneath those. I felt the paint zoom into the pants and stop short of touching anything. I've had this happen many times so I'm a little comfortable with the setup. I guess wearing your pants so that your boxers are showing does have an advantage it is a pain to run though. But it is okay since I amble any ways

I do, everytime i go. One time, on the speedball field, i cam around to bunker the guy, which left one man left. So its just me and him, so i run up to the bunker to the right of his, and while i was running, he pops out and shoots what seemed 20 balls, and one hit my...lucky right one, and that just paralized me. It felt worse than any other kick or hit ive taken in the groin. Now, i always remind myself to bring a cup, or i just hang a towel out of my pants, helps bounces.

Shot point blacnk right in my sac, right on a nut. Worstt pain I have ever felt in my life, first time i cried in front of my team Nothing can be worse than that, and I still didn't learn. Don't wear one because of the fact there the most uncomfortable things...and the onyl one i have is one from when i was like 10 and played baseball...lol, i don't fit ne more

I got shot in the nuts once, it ended with me rolling on the ground with my gun in the air for about 5 mins while the game was going on. Did I learn my lesson ummmmm NO. I mean it has only happened once and if it starts happening multiple times i might change my mind.

I don't wear one and don't know if I ever will unless I learn the hard way. I usually start every season thinking I'll get one, but I never do.

The worst pain I've ever felt, in my experience, was being nailed by no less than three shots, at about 3-4 feet, on my lower right hand back. I never found out if he was shooting hot or not, because my next action was to reflexively fire several rounds into the dirt in pain, as I collapsed, flag in hand, next to the base tree. My partner came up from behind and nailed him, but for several minutes I was unable to do anything but huddle on the ground rocking back and forth. It was the sort of feeling that takes over your mind and causes you to lose all thought on anything but the pain. Luckily we wound up winning (my partner being the last surviving player), but it hurt like hell for several hours, and took a few months for the marks to disappear completely. The only thing I can figure is that the effect of multiple shots to the same exact spot, hitting an already-extended muscle, caused more pain than any other sigle hit.

I don't wear a cup, nd I'e paid the price a few times. Why not? Well, it's not required, and they hurt. I've NEVER foudn a comfortable cup. And I've tried most of 'em.

The Raven shorts ripped on me because of cheap spandex material, the JT slider sorts cup is just too small, and when you kneel it doesn't cover everything. I've tried the regular cups available, and they dig, gouge, over-compress, or otherwise attempt to injure me. So until someone makes a comfortable one, forget it.
