That reminds me of one fine day when two boys tried to install a level 10 kit for the first time, and after about an hour of frustration realized that we... i mean they... were trying to screw it together with the carrier stuck on the pin on the back of the bolt instead of in the pt tip

I can't tell you how many times I've seen the power tube tip left out of when tuning a level 10.

Since I can forget ANYTHING, I don't take it off. I've got to tell you, you really instill confidence when you forget to put the power tube tip back, air the marker up and pull the trigger to see if that will stop if from leaking.

Wow, I've done that, although I usually notice since it makes it real easy for the valve to slide back in, also forgotten the entire bolt too. I've also forgotten to put the on/off valve in when I was messing with the ULT. Also tried tuning the ULT with a tank that was running low on air, so the more I took it apart to fix it, the more air I wasted and the worse it shot. I do that stuff all the time, although I usually catch it pretty quick.

You should have chrono'd it after putting an insert in to match the paint. I wonder what it would have shot at?

I think your a bit off base. There was a message in here somewhere but you seem to dense to be able to retrieve it. I suggest you not try and talk down to me either. Nor would I think you have any place to tell me what is appropriate or not when it comes to my family. Its not your place to preach to me about things you know nothing about.

Personally I think its uncalled for, I do not know about the realitionship between you and your son, I don't care to either. My point is judgeing by what you wrote, you seem to be a total jerk. This is a public forum, not Cphillip's forum, your not among just your friends.

I remember a time, a friend and I went to eat at a resturant; a father called his daughter a little (insert f-word) and yelled at her. His daughter looked about 8 years old. My friend and I were disgusted. The Moral of the story, don't say things like that in public or else you will look like a jerk.

Doooh!!!!!! He was trying to shoot the thing with no insert at all. And in fact must have played the last time with it with no insert at all in the kit! No wonder he would not get up to 280 fps! Suprised it shot at all!

Friend of mine did it with a freak... too bad on a freak you can see if the insert is in it or not from the outside... not so smart...

Well personaly I think your a total jerk. And your judgmental know it all attitude is your own problem. And its a public forum and I am part of the public. I can start a thread about a topic that amuses people or teaches people any time I want. And I will say anything I want that is not offensive. And within the rules. You got a lot of nerve telling me where my latitudes are. And boxing me into something you don't even conform to YOURSELF! I suspect some hostility is there for something your not admitting? Come out with it. Don't hide behind this petty personal attack. Like a coward. What have I done to you that you want to just exagerate this into something controversial?

And I could care less about what you think anymore because you come off as a total jack arse about something not ment to even involve you. I say this... mind your own business. And read what you want into stuff. I could care less anymore about YOUR opinions because they obviously are based in hate and something underlying that I will never understand where it comes from. Seek some help before it consumes you in hate for something you want to see that is not there.
