Playing in the rain is fine as long as you don't have porting exposed on your barrel and have thermal lenses. I know electros are supposed to work fine in wet conditions, I always put the emag away and break out a mech gun when it's raining.
Paintballn in the rain your thoughts on it?

me and some friends went pballing in a bush in the rain. it was fun. my mask didnt fog at all. i had a mech piranha at the time. i just wore army pants and a black shirt. it was fun. the rain made it seem really real. the rain wasnt bad the trees caught it all and it wasnt falling to fast after the trees. all the mud and water was great. we played in the bush cause it was there first time and didnt want to play speed against them, but it was a blast.3
but we all had colds the next week

I have played in the rain once out of my 2 years of playing.
For anyone that has been to challenge park, we go out to armegeddon and it drizzling then its just a complete downpour, and my goggles were covered in water and I keepy having to wipe them off. Then being at armegeddon I can hardely see and walk around a corner of a building and trip, crack the eblow on my cocker, then i get a kick *** angle on this guy and start shooting and him and the balls are going everywhere and he shoots me
I just played a tourney and it was raining hardcore, then right before the games the skys closed up and the rain stopped. But its very hard to get a good running start in thick wet mud.Comment

i really don't like playing in the rain at all. but when i did go, i didn't tape the porting in my barrel. i could hardly shoot myself in the foot. it would either break or make a nearly 90 degree cut the right. it was horrible. next time i'll learn though. The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves. 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

depends on the field. Lotsa rocks just looking to bash my skull if I slip? No thanks. However I once played a nicely groomed Sup'air ball field in a total downpour. It was awesome, you could slide into a front bunker from the back end. My barrel looked like I was collecting soil samples though.Comment

Its fun because only the really hardcore ballers come out then.Comment

I've played in the rain a few times.I kinda like it.All the E-Spyder kids hide so they don't get their guns rained on so it's pretty much Bunker ala carte'.
Just throw a stock (unported) barrel on, and let it rip.

playing in the rain = hell
i kept all my stuff in the trunk and i got soaked. i had no where to sleep so i slept outside and let it rain on me some more. next day i was tired and sick. so i don't recommend playing in the rain but if it does o well just get on the field and play.Comment

Well, here in Florida it rains ALL the time but only for very short periods.I doubt I'd go out and play in all day pouring rain.

I am at my best in the rain. I love it.
Break out the good ole proteam barrel and start rockin worlds. I end up looking like swamp thing by the end of the day because I have no probs with the water and mud. Although I did end up losing a set of cletes to the rain... after they dried out they shrunk 2 sizes.

Sliding in the mud can be fun! I took a nice dive in a mud pool during the NJ NPPL and cleaning my stuff afterwards was like a party! Well, not exactly.
