Barrel Question: What bore do you use with what paint?

I just thought I'd try to start a little helpful thread for everybody. I'm just asking people who have multibore kits to come out and say generally which barrel and bore you use for which paint...here we go...I don't really care about length but it's really up to you to include it or not.

    Barrel: .689 CP Barrel
Paint: Zap Classic & Zap Chronic

I find that paint varies so much batch to batch that I really have to test each time I open a box.

Meh, while paint to barrel match, REALLY does help, I find its only at extremes nowadays. Paint has reached a pretty nice quality that with ok paint, Ill use my CP .689, for everything. If its exceptionally small like .684 or below, ill throw on the JT with a smaller back. But you can usually just get a nice Ultralite, or CP and stick with it.

Oh..it shoots da 620:1 .No problemo.

I use .689 on all because I only have one barrel but people I know with freaks just use .691 or .695 on all, they shoot impys and apparently thats what youre supposed to do.

In the old days a .688 Dye stainless and Marbalizer were the match made in heaven. Nowadays I am still fidling around with it. But I am hoping to find a nice Cocker Threaded .688 BOA to shoot with... seems its still a great bore to go with. :) (At least till I get the cash for a cepter or somethin)
