Is it just me? Am I not seeing something in those pics or is that "exoskeleton" armor missing padding in arguably the most important place? I mean padding on your butt cheeks but not your crotch?! I may not be Machoman, but I like to think I'm as tough as the next guy. I generally don't mind getting shot by paintballs, but getting shot by one at 285 fps in the howyadoin's = not my idea of fun. Even with adrenalin pumping...

If anyones idea of fun is a shot to the "howyadoins", then they deserve to be shot in the "howyadoins" until they no longer function, thus negating the possibility of them ever reproducing. If said moron has already reproduced, then the earth is doomed. It would be fun though to put one of those on and see what you could handle. Personally I think it is pretty lame, if you can't handle a paintball hit, then go play laser tag or badmitton or dress up in your mom's clothes and put on her makeup.

The suits look a little restrictive of movement. I personally wouldn't get one cause it makes you look like a pansy. Paintball hits don't hurt enough to need armor, and just like the other guy said you make yourself more of a tarket when you wear it.

Everyone knows, Snake Eyes can woop arse on Solid Snake and Sam Fisher and then bust out some break dancing moves...

I have to disagree with the train of thought that says "if you can't handle the hit, don't play." As a community of players, we should encourage all and any interested individuals. Now if those people need to wear an inch of foam to make the game enjoyable for them, I don't see anything wrong with that. People who would trash talk those individuals have some issues of their own. Why put someone down for making our game more agreeable to play? You might not like the armor and would never wear it, but that doesn't mean others can't or shouldn't.

In short, making fun of someone playing with armor is like the bully on the playground making fun of your clothing. Who cares? His mother didn't hug him enough. In my mind, the ground is open to personal opinions about how this product would be implemented in a player's individual style.

Personally, this gear would not fit my playing style nor would I care to wear it. I'd hate to have my movement restricted in any way.
