The name of the town is the same as Tom's last name.. Coincidence??

Well, this is certainly something you can be proud of, and feel good about. One of your products saved at least one life, and my have helped turn things around for the guy. Here's a thought - maybe he'll go "What the blazes hit me?!", do some research, take up paintball, and then have something to live for.

Could you imagine? "AGD Saved my life, thank ya AGD" then he bunkers somebody. Nobody would understand the commercial except for us AO'ers, lol. Anyways, that is really cool that it actually saved somebodies life, you guys should be proud. But what I dont get is..didnt AGD dismiss the rumors of making weapons for military use? This isnt a weapon but it is for military use, heh. Or was that being a nail gun manufacturer...maybe that was it.. Thatd be awesome though, the X-Gun. 36 NPS

Here's a good page with info on the FN303 and it's function. Dig the paint-filled projectiles:

Yes we are REALLY proud of this. From our point of view we moved paintball from a sport into a socially relevant place in society. We save the lives of the good guys, the bad guys and the innocents.

It took a lot of time and money. It cost me AGD's position in the industry. Was it all worth it? We just saved a life, you tell me.....

I wouldn't say the FN303 cost AGD their spot in the industry. Everyone who knows and matters is here :)

I used something similar before; aircraft aluminum bodied stun gun, powered by a 12 gram CO2 (1 cartridge = 1 shot) firing a lead filled bean bag. It only could shoot once before reloading but could be used as a baton also. Only got to shoot it at someone once, we were both running (he away from my partner and me towards him to cut him off) and it hit him in the ribs, stopped him in his tracks with an awkward flip to the ground. The crowd of poedestrians were greatly amused though :)
