ANybody out there ever had your mag body chrome plated? I want to plate mine but was wondering about the cost of having it done. Just wondering.

You could polish it yourself for next to nothing. Just some sandpaper and some work. I know a few people that have done that. It turned out pretty nice.-Gig 'Em Ags! -

I believe you can take the body to a near by Harley shop and they can do it for you pretty cheap.Comment

Yeah I could check there. Theres one a couple of miles from me. The thing is, I know Harleys, I know Harley shops, they really like to overcharge. And they really love chrome. Hmmmmm maybe black would be better.polished minimag

Maybe you should try polishing it some more before you chrome...

Like I said, Ive polished already, the pic was before I polished it. I just was considering chrome. Polishing was easy, and very cheap, I ve polished both mags that Ive had. But its still not chrome.polished minimag
